Post 3: My future Job

Well, it is difficult to know what will be the work of the future for each person, I imagine that mine will be that of food engineer. In the future I would like to work in some industry that is dedicated to the production of packaged foods.
Well, in general the salary in this type of work is quite good, in the sense that it allows to live in a certain "comfort", I think that one should work on what he is passionate about, but many times that seems a bit impossible, many times I've wanted to dedicate myself to music, but that's impossible (haha).
Well, in this profession you have to travel to many places, usually to verify facilities or industries to other cities, this happens when you work for a large company, like coca cola.
This work is done both behind closed doors and in field work, you can see by the amount of trips that are made in a certain amount of time.
I hope that in the future all the things I want to do can be fulfilled, obviously not everything is work, I would also like to travel.

my opinion

Well, in general the experience doing the blogs has been good, and from the previous experience in English 3, I have been thinking that this evaluation system is really good. Considering that sometimes making blogs is difficult, since some topics are not very difficult to explain, therefore few words are used, as we know to make each blog is necessary to meet a certain number of words, usually more than 200 words. As a recommendation I would like the topics to be more extensive or that the number of words requested be minor.
Well, I think this system is capable of developing writing skills, for me it has been a great development of vocabulary and writing, but a system is necessary to understand more English, as idioms and the correct use of meanings.
Well, within the topics that are chosen in the program, I consider that you should choose at least one topic related to the topics that are from a chemistry faculty, some topic related to the art or with some particular skill of each person, is the recommendation that would make the program.
In general, it has been seen that the vast majority of the program is a common plan of general student training, at the end of the four courses, an exam is given with which you can choose to obtain a student certificate with English class "B " I believe it is necessary to extend the program to generate a student capable of facing communication with English-speaking countries.
My experience in this course has been very good. Hopefully, continue like this.

changes in the program

Well, I would like to start by saying what are the things that I find that could be improved in the program. first of all the amount of credits that give for each CFG (general training course), some careers ask for too many credits (8 credits, in my case) and the current CFGs do not give many (2 for each CFG), which tells us that by semester 2 CFGs must be taken many times these are combined with the study of other subjects. what makes it impossible to give a good performance in each CFG. I am currently at 2 CFG and my schedule is not that bad, the time reaches me precisely.
The second thing that would change in the program would be the schedule, since many times there are limits of schedules that prevent going to classes and understand it. This is why the time limits should not exist, but I understand that this is difficult, since not all teachers have a lot of time to do classes. According to it is known the professors of the University carry out investigations, which leaves them without a lot of time.
Third, Some specific branches of the races usually have all the hours of the week together in ONE DAY, well this in my personal experience. To be able to solve this, the schedules should be distributed well in the week and try to avoid  gaps in the  schedules.
As a last review, outside the subject but influential, I would like the faculty's infrastructure to change, to have a casino, a large library and have a roof to protect from the rain (haha).

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Well, I really do not know where I'm going this summer. Last summer I went to Punta Arenas, to visit Torres del Paine, Puerto Natales, among other places in Magallanes. When I returned to Santiago I got a job at the CCU for a short time
Next summer I want to go to Viña del Mar with my girlfriend Aracely even for a day, but first I must get money, for that I plan to work some days in December, when the semester is over, then in January to work all month to achieve enough money to be able to entertain me and travel to Viña del Mar.
Well, I would also like to go to the Tabo beach for a few days, go with my family and my grandparents, to be able to relax a little while.
This summer I intend to work in December at Audiomusica or at Casa Amarilla. Then, in January, I went back to work at the CCU, in addition to playing with my band and if time allows me to get my driver's license.
When February is over, the few days off in March I will use them to relax without doing anything, see my girlfriend, play video games on my console, read books, work at home, painting and arranging it, among many other things.
I believe that these things are all that I will realize I hope that my time is enough and I do not lack.

my favorite song

Well, I don't know which is my favorite song, I think  that this depends on my humor or the day, but for today I have the perfect song for this day "dead as yesterday" from Zakk Wylde, Book of shadows album. This song expresses the feeling  of someone who tries to seek or find his way, someone who feels  shelterless, someone who doesn't know what to do  with his life. but holding to something with strength, "the faith" of find shelter in the love of somebody and hoping to find his way.
Well, I have another song for this day (Friday),"la ciudad de la furia" by Soda Stereo, "Doble vida album". I think that this song is a real picture of Santiago, with these angry people in the streets or in the metro, angry bus drivers, among other things. In this day or in other Friday I think about flying , being free, being peaceful, but I can't (jaja) in this city. So I put in my stereo Motorbreath from Metallica or any other song of thrash metal. 

Well, in the week I listen to so much music because I hear the station of radio Sonar 105.3 (jaja), in this radio they put music of my taste and I enjoy all my travel to the university listening  to music in this radio. But in the Metro, you can't listen to the radio so
 I listen to my music from my SD card or google play.

Postgraduate studies

I have to start this post saying that my first career election was medical technology, but now I think of that election and I realize this election didn't represent me, in this time I found out that my vocation is related with the electricity and I want to do a technical course when I finish my career.
Well, I chose the career of food engineering almost one year ago (2016) and I think that my career is amazing. In the future I want to do postgraduate course food's sciences.
Well, I study in the university thanks to the state, I have the Bicentenario scholarship. this scholarship covers just the referential tuition and the university covers the rest of the tuition. So, as you can see I don't have free education as other people of my own economical situation and for this cause I think a lot if I should study a postgraduate, but I'm going to try to get into university of chile.
Well, the postgraduate course of food's sciences consist  in  training  graduates of high level of the field of food's sciences, to improve and accelerate the technological and scientific development as well as academic aspects and investigations.
Well, I believe that you can do what do you want, but if you don't get what you want you can never be happy .
Never give up and if you fail, you have to get up and try again, without  fear.

Arts

Well, my way of seeing art is quite particular, I will start by saying that my favorite art or way of expressing myself is music, music is a door to the expression of our soul or spirit, independent of the style of music, music is able to let us see the most hidden ideas or feelings of people. In my case in particular I listen to many styles of music but my favorites are Rock, Metal and grunge, for me those are the styles that identify many thoughts that I have regarding our society.

my second favorite form of art is paintwork, this art is a way of seeing the world that surrounds us but seen from different perspectives ranging from realism to cubism. My favorite painting style is realism, this style of the baroque movement was one of the most important artists such as Michelangelo (precursor), Raphael (precursor), Caravaggio and remdbrant. My favorite painter is Caravaggio, since his technique uses many shadows and specular light, showing a painting almost like a photo with instagram effects (haha).

well the third art would be poetry and literature, good poetry I consider it a verbal way of expressing the soul as is singing, many times one writes poems to show a feeling to other people, as you write you a poem to the girl you like (haha), in this case my favorite poet would be Julio Cortazar. In the case of literature creom is more a way of entertaining or teach people things of life or simply show life experiences, in particular I do not read novels or fiction but I emphasize to Stephen King who has been a good writer of thrillers.

videogames

well, I was a big fan of the videogames in my childhood, I liked many games but my most favorite one  is "God of War", I remember that name impressed me, the game is the story of "Kratos" a simple mortal Greek warrior who made a deal with Ares (the god of war) and Ares betrays him. then the game begins, Kratos  kill Ares (God of War I ), tries to kill Zeus (God of War II) and finally kills Zeus (God of war III). well that is my favorite videogame but I play many other games like PES ( soccer videogame), Dragonball budokai tenkaichi 3, among others. Well, I have Ps2 console, I have it since 2010 to the present and still works, I remember that I played with my younger brother mortal kombat shaolin monks all nights until dawn in summer holidays.
well, nowadays I don't play much Ps2 because I don't have time for that, but when I have time to entertain myself I play with my little brother " un partio' pa' ver quien es mejor"  and we play to see who of both is the best soccer player in the PES.

Concert ever

Well, one of my best moments in my short life was the Maquinaria festival, a concert in the "Club Hipico" in the district of Santiago, near to the Parque O' Higgins. Well, this festival of music has many musics band like Down, Daff McKagan, Faith no more, Chris Cornell (recently dead), Megadeth and one of my favorite bands, Alice in Chains. This concert was six years ago, in the great year of 2011, november 12th and 13th.
Well, I can't remember how long the concert was but I remember this, "stay all of that day standing, hungry and very thirsty but it was worth it", I remember the sound of every band, the stage, the musicians, the sun and many other things. That day was my day and I went with my father, uncle, cousin and friends of my family, we stayed a little moment in the Parque O'Higgins, a few hours. Well, that was a very good music festival.
Well, I went to the music festival specifically for one band, Alice In chains. Alice in chains is a rock music band of the genre of grunge, a movement that was born in the 90's. Well, this band is my favorite band and the Maquinaria festival was my opportunity to see them play live.

"A country I'd like to visit".

well, the country that I would like to visit is located in the old continent, in Europe, a little nation called Germany, this country has great history and culture, my dream is to visit this country for those reasons, to know their own culture, their art, their castles, among other  things. I 'm really interested in their history, from the XVI century to the present, especially in the first  world  war to the cold war.
I would like to visit Munich and Berlin and many other cities. well, I'd like to travel in summer,because the weather is more comfortable to me and I think that is the best season of the year to travel around the world.
Berlin is the capital of Germany, this city has a huge history on its "shoulders", a city separated by a wall in the second half of the XX century and  a cultural center in the world. well, if someday I can go to Germany, I would like to go to Berlin.

Evaluation of your blogging experience

In general the experience of writing blogs is a methodology adapted to the current times with the classic purpose of the student to write and improve their grammar in English. Although this methodology is effective, it fails to capture the total attention of the student, since when occupying computers is lost contact with the teacher, which can guide you and tell you what mistakes you make, this in the communicative aspect.
Another purpose that I do not understand much is the issue of the number of words to be used, I feel that some topics are not so extensive as to use more than 170 words.
The system of "blogs" is just beginning, it does not take many years, taking into account this time it is observed that it has been a good method of study and preparation.
As a suggestion of some topic, I would like to see topics such as the situation of some countries, opinions about some news or some topic on some scientific or artistic subject. Particularly the subject of which would write would be related to conspiracies or with some sense of political or administrative complaint, it may be interesting to us but it can be funny and capable of generating diverse opinions.

plannes for holidays

Well, generally for the winter holidays are not usually interesting in my case, so the plans I have are trying to rest and work some days if that is possible. In previous years it has always been the same, this holiday was occupied to do nothing, I will see my family, see my cousins ​​when they come to Santiago. But the most important thing is to try to enjoy with my family and go out with my girlfriend.
In the case of the university, it will be the end of the semester and I will have to take the classes for the second semester. Trying to make my schedule not so ugly. A subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Well, in this semester there are no classes that are my preference, but if it is to study with pleasure, it should be differential and integral calculus, since it is a class that reprobates last semester, the study is quite fluid and I try to give it The greatest effort, to pass and advance in my classes. In these cases, sometimes studying tends to have difficulties, since sometimes the studies of other classes are combined, making it stressful to study differential and integral calculus. As a method of prevention what I do, is to allocate part of my time in the week to calculate and thus I can save that limit of study with other classes, although sometimes the fatigue is too much and the work is affected, these setbacks delay the study And make it stressful. In general, studying at the last moment is what he plays against, but sometimes there is no time.
In this class the main thing is to learn to integrate a function already derived, in order to find its primitive function, in this aspect we are taught a series of methods, such as the method of partial fractions, integration by substitution and integration by parts

Well, within the race of food engineering  exist many websites and magazines related to the manipulation of foods, innovations, precautions, among others. In my case in particular, I pay attention to what the Latin American society of nutrition says, since they have constant projects in order to find solutions to people who do not have the money to feed themselves. In this way the Latin American society, develops products with high nutritional contribution and moderate price reachable. HOBBIES

Well, having a hobbie is something entertaining, since it has as an aim to bring out some personality in something tangible or visible. For me playing the bass is my hobbie, since I was twelve years old I started to approach the musical instruments, I started playing guitar in order to achieve practice. I started to play bass when I was thirteen years old, when I changed schools, since then I have dedicated myself to improving my techniques. I try to play bass often, but now I almost do not play bass, since I do not have much time to do it, because I have to study for college, but when I was in school I played every day.
Particularly the bass attracts me to its sound, the weight of a band, the filling that can give a heavy riff and the effect it produces when being heard in a concert or concert. Also the bass caught my attention thanks to some jazz bands I saw in a concert, these things generated the bass became my hobbie

Favourite Musician or Band

My favorite band is called Alice in Chains, which belongs to the genre of grunge music, Rock style that was born in the late 80s and covers the first half of the 90s. This band is part of my life, since I've heard it since the moment I was born, because it's my father's favorite band. In this same way what this band captivates of me is the sound of riffs of the guitars, the voice, the sound of the drum  and the one of the bass. Particularme the voice and the guitar are what to my taste most emphasizes in the band, the guitar gives a powerful accompaniment with riffs and solos of guitar to the voice, which is clear of the voices belonging to the other bands of that time, The voice shows the temper of the song, if it is slow or fast, all this according to my point of view.



 

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

My favorite technological piece would certainly be the mp4 or music and video player devices as they are told. For me this device is almost part of me, since I listen to music every time, I can put all the music that is of my interest, I can listen to the radio, watch videos and save information as well. The mp4 was one of the first forms of personal reproduction of music, without compact disc or cassette. At the time of the appearance of this device for the first time, I decided to buy one (mp4), it was an arduous way, since I had to do a series of works in my house, like every child who wants something. At the moment I managed to get mp4 at age 12, a Sony Walkman stereo, it was a moment of maximum realization, listening for the first time the music that I wanted to the volume and equalization that I wanted was fantastic, I remember the first song I heard , Fade to black from metallica as if it had been yesterday.
 The use I give to this device is very basic in my life, to supply my day with a daily dose of music. Is my faithful companion of music or musical taste, has been a faithful friend
Life without my Sony Walkman, would be boring, since I would not have music to listen to throughout the day.

Why did i choose this career / study programme?

Well, when i was  child had many expectations of what I wanted to be when I was big, when I was about 4 years old, my expectation was to become Dracula and live with blood. When one advances in his childhood and enters the school he realizes that the reality is different, to see how the studies were I realized that I wanted to give a contribution to the world we live in, I wanted to be a doctor, in order to save lives. After this stage my visions were widened, I suffered a couple of disappointments and joys, like every person, I quit the dream of being a doctor and I ventured to discover more ways to contribute to society.
In my last year of school I did not really know what I was going to study, I was between medical technology in the University of Chile or some engineering in USACH, but to really know what I should do with my life I had to give the PSU . After giving the PSU and postulate to the careers that I had as a preference, I realized the career of Engineering in food, which caught my attention and I liked the social contribution that one can achieve with food. This way I will be in the university of chile in the race of engineering in foods, race in which I am until today.
The university has been a beautiful experience full of effort and expectations that help you consolidate as an adult, make your life, make friends, girlfriends, family, among other things. The university should be a place of coexistence and not a place to study, despite the stress it produces.
